About me
Meine fotografische Arbeit ist dokumentarisch und konzeptionell ausgerichtet. In langfristig angelegten Projekten untersuche ich urbane Räume, soziale Strukturen und gesellschaftliche Realitäten, vor allem in Mexiko und Deutschland. Ausgangspunkt sind reale Orte und Situationen, die ich als offene Erzählräume begreife.
Im Zentrum meiner Arbeitsweise steht die Entwicklung zusammenhängender Bildserien, in denen Recherche, Beobachtung und persönliche Erfahrung miteinander verschmelzen. Meine Bildsprache ist präzise und zurückhaltend, geprägt von einem analytischen Blick und einer bewussten Reduktion. Fotografie verstehe ich als Mittel der Untersuchung, das komplexe Wirklichkeiten sichtbar macht, ohne sie eindeutig zu erklären.
My photographic work is documentary and conceptually oriented. Through long-term projects, I explore urban spaces, social structures, and societal realities, primarily in Mexico and Germany. My work is rooted in real places and situations, which I approach as open narrative spaces.
At the core of my practice is the development of coherent photographic series in which research, observation, and personal experience intersect. My visual language is precise and restrained, shaped by an analytical perspective and a conscious reduction. I understand photography as a means of investigation that reveals complex realities without offering definitive explanations.
